Dr. Devin Harrison
MEET YOUR DOCS
Board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, Dr. Harrison is a native Washingtonian, and has been part of the Columbia River Eye Center family since 2008. Dr. Harrison received a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Seattle Pacific University, and his M.D. Degree from St Louis University. He completed an internship at Virginia Mason Hospital, and his Ophthalmology residency at the University of Wisconsin at Madison. Following residency, he completed a fellowship in cornea and external disease at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. His areas of practice include but are not limited to comprehensive Ophthalmology, cataract surgery, cornea surgery and cornea transplants.
Dr Andrew Chen is the newest doctor to join our practice with thirteen years of experience in comprehensive ophthalmology. Born in Toronto, Canada, Dr. Chen went on to earn BS, MS, and MD degrees all at Yale University. He completed an internship in Internal Medicine at University of Iowa, and his residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Washington. Dr. Chen’s professional areas of interest include diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration. Dr. Chen is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.

From general eye exams for glasses and contact lenses, to medical exam for diabetes and even an ambulatory surgery center for more complex procedures like cataract surgery, we make our eye center a convenient one-stop-shop for all our patients. We also do not hesitate to refer patients when needed.

OUR AMBULATORY SURGERY CENTER
Yes, that’s right. We have our own surgery center, tailored just for eye surgery. We specialize in small incision surgery, but offer:
- Cataract surgery
- Corneal transplantation including endothelial keratoplasty
- Eyelid surgery
- YAG and Argon laser surgery
WE BELIEVE IN AFTER SURGERY CARE
You’re our #1 priority. That includes following through until the very end. We ensure that the surgeon who performs the surgery sees the patient not only the day after surgery, but also follows up a week later. One month after surgery, you can return to your referring doctor, or follow up with us if you are an established patient.
